Military liaison staff

Military students appreciate the services of our military liaison staff. Retired Army sergeants Mike Hughes and Mike Blumberg understand the special concerns of military students. They are available to help with veteran’s benefits, credit transfers and the application process.

Credit for training

Military students may receive credit for service and training. At a minimum, most military students receive credit for basic training. Other coursework on the military transcript may be applied to comparable Globe University courses. Students may request transcripts from:

Contact your campus dean about the process of applying for credit.

Military absence

Students who are activated or deployed on sensitive military missions have several options in addition to withdrawing from their programs:

  • Extension on coursework
  • Military absence
  • Incomplete grade

They need to notify the education department via e-mail and provide orders or letters of activation. Our liaison staff can advise students about the options available to students who find themselves unable to continue their educations because of military duty.
