Is college for me?

Some students wonder if they are ready for college. At Globe University-La Crosse, we know that students enter college with different levels of preparation. That’s why we provide a strong support system that helps student succeed. We offer free tutors, library workshops and writing skills classes. We provide these and other resources to help students improve their academic skills.

Can I afford it?

We offer several programs that help students pay for their college educations. We have two scholarships for high school seniors and recent graduates. Our High School Advantage program gives seniors who enroll in degree or diploma programs at Globe University the chance to get a head start on college – without paying tuition. Eligible high school seniors can take one tuition-free course each quarter before they begin full-time study – up to four courses. This allows them to save themselves time and money later on and makes college more affordable.

Online, day, evening, full-time or part-time

Even with scholarships and other financial aid, many recent high school graduates work while in college. Students trying to juggle work and school may run into scheduling problems. At Globe University-La Crosse, we want students to have as many options as possible so they can work around the demands of their jobs. That’s why we offer classes during the day, in the evening and through our online division. Students can study part-time if that works best for them. Students are able to take classes at other Globe University locations. Being able to attend classes on their own schedules is just one of the ways we make it possible for students to earn their degrees.
