Our scholarship programs
We offer scholarships to eligible high school students, military students and students enrolled in specialty programs at our La Crosse campus:
Scholarships for military students
Globe University-La Crosse awards scholarships to eligible military students. If you are a veteran, active duty or a spouse or dependent, you may qualify for one or more of the following scholarships.
- Active Duty Military Scholarship: After the scholarship is applied, recipients pay $250 per credit.
- Military Advantage Scholarship: This scholarship awards a 10% discount on tuition and books to veterans, dependents and active duty service members.
- Military Service Scholarship: Severely injured service members or their families receive up to $5000 in scholarship aid, depending on their programs of study.
- Purple Heart Scholarship: Service members wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan, and dependents of those killed in the gulf conflicts may be eligible for this benefit.
Scholarships and programs for high school students
High school students may be eligible for the following scholarship awards and tuition-free programs:
- President's Scholarship: This program rewards early enrollment with a scholarship of either $2000 or $1000, depending on the student’s application date.
- Director's Academic Scholarship: This scholarship rewards students for outstanding performance on the CPAt test. Eligible students may receive up to $5000, depending on their scores on the test.
- High School Advantage: This program allows students to take tuition-free courses (up to four) while they are still in high school.
Miscellaneous scholarships
We offer scholarships to eligible students who meet the specific criteria outline below:
- Cosmetology Business Scholarship: This program awards $2000 to graduates of Minnesota School of Cosmetology who enroll in the Cosmetology Business program.
- Business Alliance Scholarship: This scholarship provides up to $5000 for an employee of a Globe University business alliance partner.
- Professional Certification Scholarship: This program reimburses students for the cost of certification exams in their fields.
- Community Service Scholarship: This scholarship rewards students who perform community service with an award of $2000 annually.
- Dream Act Scholarship: Undocumented graduates of Minnesota high schools are eligible for awards.
